LETTERING TECHNIQUE

For all those who love writing, different types of letters, calligraphy and school material, today I propose: the art of drawing letters or also known as: lettering.

We  have all seen it  recently in. posters, business, advertisements and brands,  is a very well-known  and very fashionable technique but...what is  teh real meaning of lettering?

We must not  confuse the lettering technique with calligraphy or typography because the typographic style changes although they have the same propuse, to create a visual effect.

LETTERING: It refers to the art of drawing letters
CALLIGRAPHY: It refers to writing letters
TYPOGRAPHY: Refers to the design  process of the letters

The main aim of Lettering is to create our own style by drawing the letters and for this we need a lot of practice. Due to  the flexibility this technique  allows us to use a wide variety and range of materials, types of surfaces and all kinds of brushes.

Recently it has gained a great popularity, the sensation that transmits a handmade process is very distinct and stylish from others and allow us to appreciate in a visual level.

The difference with other techniques lies in the fact that lettering is a manual work and therefore its imperfections and freestyle makes it very fashionable due to the movement of "handmade" and the vintage atmosphere  surrounds it.

The Northern Lights; An amazing experience through a trip in Lapland.

While the winter in our region seems to have just settled, I would like to propose an idea for all those enthusiasts of the cold and snow, all those who unfortunately can not enjoy winter  living  in a warm city, with stable temperatures during the whole year. the northern lights; An amazing experience through a trip in Lapland

I therefore intend to propose a different trip  where coat, scarf, snow boots and sled are  going to be very necessary to take in account... Let´s go Finland!

I discovered a travel plan, that lead us into the most Christmas atmosphere we have  ever seen.
But I do not want to talk about Christmas. It is important to be aware of that we come across of one of the coldest regions in the world, with temperatures that can reach -30 degrees in winter. But there is something that really motivates me about this country and is that apart from being famous, by their ancestors the Vikings, the saunas and our beloved Santa Claus, Finland is famous for its northern lights.

Broadly speaking, northern lights are considered a  physical phenomena that are much more likely to occur in arctic areas or near the poles. Basically they are produced when a solar storm coming from the sun is ejected towards the earth, those particles when entering the atmosphere collide with the particles of oxygen and hydrogen (the most abundant of the atmosphere) thus giving them part of the energy. Oxygen and hydrogen are immantate, getting to convert that energy in the form of that characteristic light, green, pink or lilac.

This phenomenon can practically be observed almost all year round but there is a tendency to occur in autumn and winter.

An Arctic resort has been recently built and it is called: kakslauttanen, a crystal iglu, for all those who want to enjoy this  experience within a construction that creates a cozy and warm environment typical of the Nordic countries, with a glass roof that allows us to look at the sky full of boreal lights while we are  just simply relaxed in our bed.

A unique experience that brings us closer to the wildest nature and extreme temperatures, protecting us  from the most unique resorts ever built.
